Role Highlights:

• Supporting the delivery of engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Explaining scientific concepts in a clear and accessible way

• Encouraging curiosity and independent thinking among students

• Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment

• Assisting with marking, assessment, and student feedback

• Taking part in professional development and safeguarding training

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A degree in a science-related subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, etc.)

• A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Confidence in leading a classroom with support from the school team

• A desire to progress into teacher training (PGCE, SCITT, QTS Apprenticeship)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
