Upper KS2 SEND/ General TA - Camden

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you have experience working with pupils in Key Stage 2, particularly those with SEND? A welcoming and inclusive central London primary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.

About the Role:

We are looking for a General/SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Upper Key Stage 2, both in class and through targeted interventions. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure all children, including those with additional needs, are fully supported to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, including 1:1 and small group work
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Support pupils' social and emotional development
• Help maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Liaise with parents, staff, and external professionals as required
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally in KS2
• A good understanding of SEND and strategies to support diverse needs
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable.
