Attention Utilities Design Leads!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Utilities Design Lead to join a global leading infrastructure and engineering consultancy, in a long-term contract position. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on-site 5 days a week in Buckinghamshire. This is a great opportunity to work on an exciting infrastructure project.

-Competitive day rate ranging from £400-£475 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead utility design for major UK and international infrastructure projects.

-Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate utilities into project plans.

-Manage stakeholder relationships and secure necessary approvals.

-Oversee production of compliant design drawings, reports, and documentation.

-Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.

-Deliver cost-effective, sustainable design solutions aligned with project goals.

-Identify and mitigate utility-related risks.

What we are looking for:

-Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

-Chartered Engineer (or working towards).

-Proven leadership in utility design for major infrastructure projects.

-Strong knowledge of UK utility standards and regulations.

-Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

-Able to lead teams and manage competing priorities under pressure.
