BAE Systems is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Digital Networks Product Group to lead the transformation and delivery of their global network services

Key Skills

• Strong experience in network product or service management in a large-scale IT environment.
• Deep knowledge of LAN, WAN, software-defined networks, and enterprise IT systems.
• Strong supplier management skills and experience with outsourced services.
• Proven leadership ability with a track record of delivering large-scale change.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Strategic mindset with a user-focused, data-driven approach.

The Job:

• Lead the strategy, delivery, and performance of digital network services.
• Oversee a portfolio of network products across LAN, WAN, and software-defined networks.
• Build and manage strong relationships with key technology suppliers and partners.
• Support transformation initiatives through the selection, onboarding, and optimisation of new network service providers.
• Ensure network solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with BAE Systems’ business needs.
• Manage product roadmaps, budgets, and service performance metrics.
• Lead a skilled team and embed agile and user-first practices across the product group.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy, security, and IT policies.
