Job Description - Van Driver

Rapier Employment are looking for a medical delivery/van driver to support our well-known client based around the Oxfordshire area.

Position: Van Driver
Hours: Start times between 06:00 - 12:00. Finish latest usually by 20:00. Start times are on a rota basis
Days: Friday-Monday or work Saturday, Sunday and 1 other day in the week
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
Overtime: Paid at x1.5 after 37.5 hours worked in the week

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Transporting blood and tissue samples between hospitals and surgeries
Making multiple deliveries a day which are time critical
Pathology delivery and collections
Delivering internal mail between different sites
Making deliveries to easy access sites, as well as surgeries in the middle of nowhere
Be able to make a decision on where to park/when to contact site or transport for updates
Be able to work independently as well as a team

Requirements:

Must have van driving and multi drop experience
Be able to work to a deadline and update transport if any issues arise on routes
Must be 18 or over due to insurance purposes
Full UK driving licence
A DBS check will be required down the line
