Van Driver

• Salary: £26,724 + on-call payments

We are seeking a dedicated Van Driver to join our team at the Surrey Community Equipment Service Centre. This role is crucial in supporting the lives of those in need by ensuring the timely delivery, installation, and collection of healthcare equipment across various locations including homes, care homes, hospitals, and schools within Surrey.

• Responsible for the delivery, installation, and collection of community equipment.
• May involve the servicing and repair of equipment.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods, some of which may be heavy.
• Drive across various locations in Surrey, adhering to scheduled routes and time frames.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and communication.

• Full UK driving licence (minimum 3 years) with no more than 6 points.
• Previous van driving experience is beneficial.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying heavy items.
• Basic DIY skills are advantageous for minor equipment installations.
• Enhanced DBS check is required due to the nature of work involving vulnerable groups.
• Flexibility to participate in Same Days and Out of Hours (OOH) rota, including weekend cover.
