About the Role
iMultiply are working with a dynamic organisation is seeking an experienced VAT & Reconciliations Specialist to support a critical financial project. This short-term contract role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with a strong background in VAT compliance, reconciliations, and accounting transitions.

Project Scope
The successful candidate will lead a comprehensive review of VAT records ensuring compliance and accuracy across 2 jurisdictions. The role involves reconciling balance sheet accounts, identifying unsupported VAT claims, and transitioning VAT accounting methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a full review of VAT records
• Identify and quantify unsupported input VAT claims
• Reconcile all relevant balance sheet accounts
• Transition VAT accounting from cash to accruals basis
• Assess the cash flow impact of the accounting method change
• Clean and validate financial records for compliance and audit readiness

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in VAT compliance and financial reconciliations
• Strong understanding of both UK and RoI VAT regulations
• Experience with accounting method transitions (cash to accruals)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines
