Job Opening: Strip/Refit Technician - Automotive Sector

Location: Rochester, Kent

Job Type: Full-Time, ongoing work.

Pay rate: £17.21ph PAYE, weekly pay.

Are you detail-oriented and mechanically skilled? We’re looking for a Strip and Fit Technician to join our client and play a vital role in the vehicle repair and refinishing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stripping and fitting panels
• Fit and align vehicle panels, trims, bumpers, lights, and other components post-repair
• Removing parts and panels off a range of vehicles
• Carry out quality checks to ensure proper fit and finish
• Assist body technicians and paint team as required
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Follow all health and safety regulations

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Strip and Fit or similar role, full UK driving licence, good knowledge of vehicle components and assembly/disassembly technique, ability to work independently and efficiently, high attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Shift Monday to Friday 6.30am to 4.30pm
