This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on complex mechanical faults and full vehicle repairs. Key Responsibilities: Carry out engine repairs, rebuilds, diagnostics, and overhauls Complete timing belts, cambelts, head gaskets, clutches, and gearbox work Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs Diagnose and repair faults across engines, driveline, steering, and suspension systems Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards Support workshop efficiency by working to time and quality targets Requirements: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Automotive Technician Strong background in engine diagnostics, repairs, and heavy mechanical work Experience with timing belts, clutches, gearboxes, and major components Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret fault codes Background in garage, dealership, fleet, or commercial workshop environments Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Skills: Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent What's on Offer: £22.00 per hour (Ltd Company - contracted role) Ongoing, stable contract work Immediate start available Busy workshop with consistent workflow Opportunity to work on varied and complex mechanical repairs If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Engine Specialist looking for a contract role in Abercynon, apply now or get in touch for more information.
