Warehouse operative

Our Client based in Carlisle is looking for warehouse operatives to join their busy team

You'll be a vital part of every parcel's journey, working in all parts of the warehouse, scanning, sorting and loading all sorts of parcels.

Your Primary responsibilities will inlcude

Sorting items by hand into compartments on a sorting frame.

• Bagging and labelling parcels for its destination.
• Moving mail around the office between conveyor belts, loading docks and trolleys.
• Moving mailbags from cages, sorting mailbags and bundles of mail into cages.
• Loading and unloading wheeled containers from vehicles to the dispatch areas.
• Scanning parcels.

Requirements

Must be physically fit as you'll need to be comfortable loading trailers and lifting and carrying

Have a good level of English Language both written and spoken

Be IT literate and confident in using scanners/computer

Have safety boots and hi-viz jacket

Previous experience in a similar position will be desirable.

Shift pattern

5:00PM to 9:00PM

Pay

£13:00 P/H
