Warehouse Operator
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Baltic Recruitment is currently seeking a Warehouse Operator on behalf of our client based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the efficient running of the warehouse by assisting with the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods. The role demands physical endurance, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and inspect incoming deliveries for damage and accuracy.
• Organise and store goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Accurately pick, pack, and label items for outgoing orders.
• Conduct routine stock checks and report any inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily operational targets.

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to perform effectively in a busy environment while upholding quality standards.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.
• Prior experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• A safety-conscious approach to all warehouse duties and procedures.
