Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: EH48 2FB

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: ongoing, temp to perm

Pay Rate: £14.68 per hour until 10pm/ £18.35 per hour after 10pm

Working Hours: 5 days over 7 on set rota

Shifts:

6AM / 7AM - 3PM

4PM - 00AM

5.30PM - 02AM

Hours may vary and overtime may be required

Please note that you must be able to drive and have your own vehicle as there is NO public transport to the warehouse.

Main duties:

• Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently
• Working in a cold environment- Chilled/Refrigerated area
• Operate barcode scanners or handheld devices to track inventory and ensure correct picking.
• Handling heavy lifting as part of the job
• Working as part of a supportive team

Key Skills:

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Being able to prioritise tasks, stay organised, and keep track of orders
• Efficiently managing time ensures that tasks are completed promptly.
• Reliable and able to work the rotating shift pattern
• Good attention to detail
• Previous warehouse experience
