Warehouse Operative

Morson is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Severn Trent, a leading utilities provider serving millions of customers across the Midlands and beyond.

We're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Warehouse Operative to join the Wholesale Operations team. This role is vital to the smooth running of stock, distribution, and supply across the Severn Trent network,supporting internal teams and ensuring essential materials are delivered where they’re needed most. The role will be based out of their Warehouse in Coventry

You’ll be involved in everything from stock control and SAP data entry to hands-on delivery and health & safety compliance. No two days are the same, and you'll be a key part of keeping Severn Trent’s operations moving efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Use SAP and barcoding systems to receipt, issue, and track stock
• Complete daily stock replenishment and deliveries across STW sites
• Liaise with engineers, team leaders, supply chain and managers
• Conduct monthly cycle counts and ensure audit compliance
• Operate manual handling and lifting equipment (training provided if required)
• Assist with regular inspections and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Report H&S concerns via SafetyNet and help maintain compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Good IT skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of workplace Health & Safety
• Comfortable with physical/manual warehouse work
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean)

Desirable:

• Forklift licences (Reach, Counterbalance, or Teletruck)
• Experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
• Knowledge of water fittings or utilities sector experience
