Warehouse Operative

Newstaff Employment is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and established company based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. This role is ideal for candidates with good attention to detail and fluent English skills, offering a consistent morning shift and ongoing work.

Salary £13.80 per hour + accrued holiday pay
? Working Hours Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack goods accurately using a hand scanner

• Prepare customer orders ready for dispatch

• Ensure all items are handled correctly and packed to company standards

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse

• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily targets

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or Picker/Packer preferred

• Must be fluent in English (reading and writing) to follow instructions and complete order notes

• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock

• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for warehouse duties

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Competitive pay rate of £12.50 per hour + holiday pay

• Afternoon shift pattern (2:00pm – 10:30pm) with no rotating shifts

• Immediate start with ongoing, regular work
