Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Back Shift)

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 12 weeks- Temporary initially opportunity for Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.38 per hour
Working Hours: 12pm-8pm (5 days over 7 on 3 weekly rotating)

Week 1 days off Thursday/Friday
Week 2 days off Tuesday/Wednesday
Week 3 days off Monday/Saturday/Sunday
Hours may vary and overtime may be required

Main duties:

• Unloading deliveries and checking them against order forms or invoices
• Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently
• Working in a cold environment- Chilled/Refrigerated area
• Operate barcode scanners or handheld devices to track inventory and ensure correct picking.
• Verifying that the orders picked and packed match the customer’s specifications, checking for any discrepancies, damages, or missing items.
• Handling heavy lifting as part of the job
• Working as part of a supportive team

Key Skills:

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Being able to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and keep track of orders
• Efficiently managing time ensures that tasks are completed promptly.
• Reliable and able to work the rotating shift pattern
• Good attention to detail
• Previous warehouse experience
