Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Hull

Contract Details: Full-Time, 6-month contract On-Call Required

Salary: £14 - £15 DOE

Important Note:

This role requires being on-call during weekends and bank holidays (08:00 - 12:00, with potential to work until around 15:00). Flexibility is key!

Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will:

• Offload stock swiftly and efficiently.
• Ensure all stock is stored correctly in designated locations.
• Sort stock onto pallets for racking.
• Pick goods accurately for shipping.
• Count and verify stock to maintain accuracy.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organised.
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures.
• Process daily inbound and outbound orders.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To thrive in this role, you must have:

• Current valid Counterbalance and Reach licences (or equivalent experience).
• Previous warehouse experience, particularly with racking systems.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Computer literacy for warehouse management systems (preferably SAP).

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Experience with warehouse management systems, particularly SAP.
• A positive and flexible attitude towards work.
