Stoke-on-Trent (ST1)

Key role and responsibilities for Warehouse Operative

Perform final visual inspections of computer systems for quality and finish
Clean systems thoroughly before packing to ensure customer satisfaction
Carefully pack systems using internal packaging materials and box them securely for shipment
Work with the dispatch team to ensure all orders are sent out on time
Liaise with Technicians to prioritise packing based on daily production schedules and deadlines
Report any defects or concerns to the relevant team for resolution before dispatch

Minimum requirements for Warehouse Operative

High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Ability to follow instructions and quality standards consistently
Good time management and ability to work to tight deadlines
Physically fit and able to lift and move computer systems and boxes (Our systems on average are between 10-15kg but can be much heavier and require 2 people to lift)
Experience in a packing or quality control role is desirable but not essential
Hand scanning experience

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

Working hours:
Monday - Friday
Rotating Shifts
1) Mon To Friday 08.30 - 17.30
2) Mon to Friday 10.00 - 19.00
3) Mon to Friday 08.30 - 17.30 with a Saturday 09.00 - 17.00

This job is commutable from the following areas Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Hanley, Longton, Burslem, Tunstall, Fenton, Trentham and surrounding areas.
