They have a diverse inventory of general steel and strip mill products and are known for their extensive selection of re-rolled and hollow section products. Position:

We are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our team at the Poynton Industrial Estate. This is a full-time position, and the working hours are Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Operative, your primary responsibilities will include:

Collating orders of steel products.

Loading and unloading wagons using forklift trucks, cranes, and overhead lifting gear.

Maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate the following skills, experience, and attributes:

Previous experience working in a heavy-duty warehouse environment, ideally with a background in metals or steel.

Strong math and literacy skills.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.

A commitment to following health and safety regulations.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Willingness to participate in training and professional development.

Dedication to upholding company policies and procedures and taking pride in their work.

Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week (Shifts: Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm)
