Location: Hams Hall, Birmingham (B46)
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Salary: Between 28k - 36k depending on experience
Shifts: Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday (including weekends)
Hours: 09:30 – 20:30

The Role

As a Shift Manager or Team Leader, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe running of a large-scale warehouse operation. This includes:

• Managing day-to-day shift performance across inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and yard management
• Leading and developing a team of frontline leaders and operatives to meet productivity and quality KPIs
• Promoting a positive health and safety culture across all areas of the operation
• Driving continuous improvement through coaching, training, and structured performance reviews
• Ensuring compliance with company processes, procedures, and industry regulations
• Supporting resource planning, shift handovers, and leadership communications

What We're Looking For

We're seeking motivated and experienced candidates with the following:

• Proven background in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience in a fast-paced, quality-driven operation
• Ability to manage performance, motivate teams, and influence outcomes
• Clear understanding of KPIs, operational procedures, and safety standards
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• A proactive, results-focused mind-set

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Intermediate education level (minimum)
• MHE licences (advantageous)
• Previous experience working within an automated or high-volume environment
