Warehouse - Temporary

Our key client based in Crawley are seeking a temporary Warehouse Operative to join their logistics team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of their warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods.

Day-to-day of the role:

Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.

Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.

Taking inventory and maintaining accurate records of the goods entering and leaving the warehouse.

Picking and packing orders with attention to detail.

Ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers’ timescales/requirements.

Operating handling equipment and ensuring safety regulations are followed.

Overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse and work area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience working as a Warehouse Operative or similar role is preferred.

Good physical condition and stamina.

Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count inventory.

Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a dynamic environment.

Forklift license is advantageous but not essential.
