Warehouse / Transport Administrator – Dartford | Temporary | £15.08 per hour

Are you ready to step into a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment? A leading national company specializing in transport, logistics, and supply chain management is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to support their bustling transport office at their client’s state-of-the-art distribution centre in Dartford.

This temporary role is available for an immediate start and will run for an initial 3-month period, offering £15.08 per hour.

Shift Pattern: 6am – 6pm | 4 days on, 4 days off

Your Role

As a Warehouse Administrator, you’ll be the heartbeat of transport operations, ensuring seamless workflows and supporting drivers on their daily journeys. Your responsibilities will include: ? Coordinating driver schedules—issuing store journeys, backhauls, and trunking collections ? Serving as the go-to contact—managing driver queries and supporting allocations ? Authorizing departures—operating the C3 Yard and overseeing site departures ? Keeping things running smoothly—handling incoming inquiries with efficiency ? Prioritizing safety—ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need: ?? Previous administration experience in logistics or warehouse operations ?? Strong IT skills, ideally including MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) ?? Excellent communication skills—clear, professional, and confident ?? A multitasking mindset with a flexible approach to shift patterns ?? The ability to stay calm and focused in a busy, high-pressure environment ?? Bonus points if you have transport industry knowledge
