Job Description - Waste Operative

Waste Operative – Immediate Start (2-Month Contract)

We are currently recruiting for a Waste Operative on behalf of a third-party client for an immediate start. This is a temporary role for 2 months, with the potential for flexibility in working hours based on site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Litter picking and general yard maintenance
  • Operating doors to allow HGV access to the tipping hall
  • Assisting with other light duties around the yard as required
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Total: 37 hours per week (minimum)
  • Hours may be adjusted weekly based on site activity but will not fall below 37 hours per week
Pay Rate:
  • £13.63 per hour (HC03 grade)

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is looking for a short-term role with reliable hours.
