Welder Fabricator

Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Fabricators/Welders for a company based in Bromborough area.

The position is ongoing with a possibility of going into a permanent contract for suitable candidates.

The Role:

• Light and heavy fabrication on mild and stainless steel.
• MIG welding..
• TIG welding.
• Working on structural steel.
• Working from engineering drawings
• Marking out, section cutting.
• Making balustrades, handrails, staircases, machinery guards etc.
• Working in structural & architectural steel projects.
• Pipework.

Requirements:

• City and Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding
• Knowledge of light and heavy steel fabrication processes
• Familiarity with hand and power tools use within fabrication.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with TIG/ MIG / Structural Steel/ Mild Steel
• Site work required.
• Full UK Drivers licence

Hours of work:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 16:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 15.30pm

Pay rate:

• Starting at £19.00 ph
