Secondary schools in Waltham Forest and Tradewind Recruitment are seeking motivated individuals to join their pastoral teams as Welfare and Attendance Support Officers. You'll help tackle persistent absence and work closely with families to improve student outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a meaningful role supporting pupil wellbeing and engagement.

Duties Include:
* Monitoring and updating attendance data
* Contacting parents/carers to follow up on absences
* Supporting reintegration plans for vulnerable pupils
* Working with safeguarding and pastoral teams to remove barriers to attendance

You Should Have:
* A background in education, social work or admin roles
* Great interpersonal and record-keeping skills
* A proactive, student-centred mindset
* Familiarity with MIS systems like SIMS or Arbor is useful
