About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Welsh Speaking Supply Teacher to join our team in Corwen. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for students across various year groups and subjects. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work on a day-to-day or longer-term basis, depending on your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Management:Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.

• Curriculum Delivery:Teach a range of subjects and year groups, following the school's curriculum and adapting to the needs of the students.

• Student Engagement:Motivate and support students to achieve their best, providing assistance where necessary.

• Assessment:Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the regular class teacher and school leadership.

• Communication:Maintain effective communication with school staff, students, and parents as required.

• Safeguarding:Adhere to the school's safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching in a UK school setting.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable Attributes

• Experience teaching across multiple key stages.

• Specialist subject knowledge in areas such as Maths, English, or Science.

• Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
