Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded Welsh-medium secondary school in Caerphilly.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in their learning journey. You will work closely with teachers and pupils to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

? Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional help with their learning
? Assist in delivering lessons and classroom activities under the direction of the teacher
? Support students with special educational needs (SEN), helping to break down barriers to learning
? Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential
? Help with classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
? Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources
? Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to provide tailored support for students

? Fluent Welsh speaker - essential for this role
? Passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people
? Previous experience working in a school or with young people (desirable but not essential)
? Strong communication and teamwork skills
? A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
