We're working on a great opportunity with a returning client, who is looking for an interim Works Planner to support their repairs and maintenance operations. This role is ideal for someone with excellent scheduling, communication and coordination experience within a housing or repairs setting. The role is to start immediately, for four months.
Key responsibilities:
* Schedule and manage jobs for maintenance operatives using a range of IT systems.
* Plan workforce activity in advance, integrating emergency jobs as needed.
* Maintain regular communication with field workers to ensure service continuity.
* Update systems and handle data accurately to support operational needs.
* Respond to tenant and leaseholder enquiries with professionalism and care.
* Manage operative diaries, factoring in absence, holidays, and training.
* Reschedule repairs efficiently and follow up on emergency works.
* Support a responsive repairs service and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
Client requirements:
* Previous experience in a customer service or planning role within a social housing or repairs environment.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Confident managing multiple priorities with strong organisational ability.
