Job Title: Year 5/6 Teacher

Location: North Taunton

Start Date: After Easter

Duration: Minimum of 2 weeks, likely to extend

Job Description:Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 5/6 Teacher to provide cover in North Taunton starting after Easter. This position is initially for a minimum of 2 weeks, with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 5/6 students.
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6).
• Ideally, hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, but can obtain one through Hays if necessary.
