Job Role

Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer near Stamford. They are currently seeking a yard operative to join their established and experienced team.

Job Responsibilities

• Keep the workshop and depot site in a clean and tidy condition.
• To assist with loading/unloading vehicles and checking against paperwork.
• In this role you will be working with maintenance colleagues where teamwork will be just as important as the ability to work unsupervised.
• To assist staff with tasks as instructed, i.e. lifting, moving, in the workshop or on-site.
• Help out in the Workshop if required

Person Specification

• Full UK Driving license
• Good communication skills
• You will need the ability to prioritise duties
• Forklift counterbalance license is essential

Hours of Work and Pay

• £12.50/hour
• 7:30am - 4:30pm Mon to Thurs.
• 7:30am - 11:30pm Friday
• 38 hours per week.
• Free on-site parking
