Yard Person

The role will initially be a day shift Monday - Friday 7am-4.30pm, moving to a Late Shift 2pm - 12am after the Temp - Perm period.

• Daytime Shift £12.21 per hour, Late Shift £14.65 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Person to join our clients team. This role requires someone who can work independently and hold a Full UK Driving Licence and a Counterbalance Licence. The position starts with daytime shifts but will transition to late shifts, offering a competitive hourly rate for each.

• Operate and manage the yard area efficiently.
• Use counterbalance forklifts to move materials and equipment around the yard.
• Ensure the yard is kept clean, organised, and safe.
• Monitor inventory and report any discrepancies.
• Prepare materials for dispatch and assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Manual handling of goods including lifting and carrying.

• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Must possess a valid Counterbalance Licence.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
