Job Title: Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Type: Full time

Salary: £90-£95 P/D PAYE

Location: Bedford

Tradewind are currently partnered with a large four form entry school in Bedford who are looking for an experienced SEN TA to join them to work with a pupil in Year 1.

In this role you will be working on a 1-1 basis with a child with ASD. Prior experience working with children with ASD is therefore essential. The school is open to hearing from people with experience of SEN in other settings.

Our school are looking for a patient, caring and reliable SEN TA who will prioritise the well-being of this pupil at all times. You will be responsible for ensuring that the child makes suitable progress throughout the academic year. You will be given the full support of the teacher, SENDCO and any outside agencies.

What do we look for in a SEN Teaching Assistant?

• Experience working with children with ASD - either in a school or another setting
