Year 1 Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Crystal Palace
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £400 - £500 per week (PAYE)

A friendly and supportive Primary School in Crystal Palace is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

You will be working closely with the class teacher to support a class of 28 pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. The role may also involve providing 1:1 support to children who require additional help with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support when needed

• Help pupils to stay focused, motivated, and on track

• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with young children in a school or early years setting

• A caring, patient, and proactive approach

• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
