Job Title: Year 2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Kensington, London
Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025 (after October half term)
Contract: Fixed-term until February 2026

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Year 2 Class Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Kensington on a maternity cover contract. Starting after the October half term, you will play a key role in guiding our Year 2 pupils through a crucial stage of their Key Stage 1 journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement, and progress

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver creative, effective lessons

• A nurturing, reflective, and enthusiastic teaching style

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
