We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a dedicated Primary team. This is a wonderful opportunity to nurture young learners during a crucial stage of their development and help them flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
• Support the holistic development of each child, encouraging positive behaviour and a love for learning
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
• Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and support staff to enhance the learning experience
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff development sessions, and school events.

What We're Looking For:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2
• Strong knowledge of early year's pedagogy and curriculum
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
