Job Opportunity: Year 2 Teacher, Full-Time
Start Date: May 1st
End Date: July 22nd

This warm and welcoming infant school based in Nuneaton is looking for a Year 2 teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting on Thursday, 1st May.

The school wants everyone here to feel like they belong. Their goal is to make this a warm, safe, and happy place where children feel good about themselves. This helps them grow, learn, and get ready for the world outside of school.

The school are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 2 teacher to join their team on a full-time basis for the summer term. This role will require taking on all the responsibilities of a permanent member of staff, including:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Conducting assessments and tracking pupil progress
• Participating in and contributing to end-of-year assemblies
• Attending staff meetings and collaborating with the wider team

The ideal candidate will have a nurturing and empathetic approach, ensuring that every child feels supported and valued. At the same time, you will set clear boundaries and demonstrate strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.

To be successful:

• To be successful, you must have excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• You must have experience of teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
• Be able to adapt and differentiate where possible.
• Be available 5 days per week
