Year 3 Teaching Assistant - Sutton Coldfield

A lovely school in Sutton Coldfield, near Walmley, is looking for a confident, knowledgeable Teaching Assistant to work full-time in Year 3.

This role starts ASAP - Easter 2026

The main responsibilities within this role will be supporting in the classroom, however you may be required to lead small group interventions.
This is a high-achieving school, so we are looking for an adaptable individual who is able to confidently use their own initiative within the classroom.

Previous experience within Key Stage 2 is preferred but not essential.

Skills and experience required for our teaching assistant jobs:

* Level 2+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable)
* An enthusiastic, well-motivated and talented classroom practitioner
* Excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum
* Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years
* Right to Work in the UK
* Clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service (if you do not have this, we will
require you to apply for a new DBS)
* Able to provide at least 2 references to cover a minimum of 2 years
* Strong EYFS and SEND knowledge
