Year 4 1:1 SEN TA

Tradewind Education Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Camden, London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by providing 1:1 support to a Year 4 child with ASD in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

?? Start Date: After the Easter holidays

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them access learning and develop social skills.

• Implement individualised learning strategies in line with the child's needs.

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure consistent support.

• Use effective communication techniques to foster engagement and progress.

• Help manage behaviour in a positive and supportive manner.

• Strong experience supporting children with ASD in a school setting.

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to SEN support.

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
