Year 4 Teacher - Maternity Cover

Location: Midhurst (GU29) Start Date: September 2025 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (approx.)

Prospero Teaching is delighted to be recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher for our client mainstream primary school in Midhurst. This is a maternity cover role beginning in September 2025, running until 1st December, with the potential for extension through to the end of term.

About the Role

As a valued member of the KS2 team, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of your pupils
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, using feedback to inform and adapt your teaching
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support pupil development
• Promote high standards of behaviour and learning, encouraging respect, resilience, and responsibility

Contract Details:

• Location: Midhurst (GU29)

• Start Date: September 2025

• Position: KS2 Primary Teacher - Year 4

• Contract Type: Fixed Term up until Christmas - Potential to extend

• Hours: Full-time (8:00 am - 4:00 pm, including parent evenings)

• Pay Rate: From £150 - £261.78 per day

Candidate Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

• Two recent professional references in child-related roles.
