Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive two-form entry Junior Academy in Chesterfield on a maternity cover contract, starting after the Easter holidays 2025 until Easter 2026.

As the Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential. This is a full-time role with responsibilities including:

• Planning, delivering, and assessing effective lessons.

• Monitoring pupil progress and providing meaningful feedback.

• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the school's positive team culture.

• Attending staff meetings, training sessions, and participating in the wider life of the school.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience or confidence in delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for creating a positive learning environment.

• A team player who is committed to getting involved in the life of the school.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
