Year 4 Teacher

Are you a passionate KS2 teacher looking for a small term commitment in a wonderful Stockport school? An exciting opportunity lies ahead!

On behalf of our client school, we are seeking a dedicated Year 4 teacher to take responsibility of a fantastic class from September 2024 until October half-term. This role is to complete the end of a maternity cover and is well suited to those teachers wanting to make an impact in the classroom on a short-term basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for an averaged size Year 4 class with daily TA support. This larger than average school supports shared planning opportunities and provides a friendly, positive environment in which to thrive!

Year 4 key responsibilities include:

-Planning and teaching engaging lessons in line with Year 4 National Curriculum Standards

-Using a range of assessment tools, both formative and summative and using online platforms to collate data

-Using Interactive Whiteboards as well as Chromebooks and other modern technology tools to bring excitement to learning and keep up with our tech savvy society

-Work well independently as well as a team player and communicate well with the teaching assistant to inform them of daily activities and gain feedback on whether objectives are met
