We are working on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive school in St Albans to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for a maternity cover position starting September 2025. This is a two-form entry primary school with a strong focus on inclusion, creativity and high standards for all pupils.

The school has a warm and welcoming ethos, with a highly supportive SLT and well-established systems in place. It has a diverse intake, including a higher-than-average proportion of pupils with EAL and SEND, and is proud of its commitment to developing the whole child.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an experienced teacher with recent UK classroom experience

• Hold QTS or equivalent qualification

• Be confident in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to Year 4 pupils

• Have strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge

• Be a team player, happy to work closely with the parallel class teacher and wider staff team

This is a full-time role for the duration of the maternity cover, with pay between £140 and £240 per day depending on experience and pay scale.
