Your new role

The school are seeking an enthusiastic, reflective and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team for maternity cover.

• To have full responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing a Year 5 class.
• To create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
• To deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• To work collaboratively with the Year 5 team and wider staff.
• To build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• To contribute to wider school life, including events, trips and enrichment activities.
• To demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5
• Is passionate about teaching and learning
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards
