Job Description:

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in South London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to inspire and support students in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 5.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
