Year 5 Teacher

A wonderful school in Stockport are seeking a Year 5 teacher to complete a Mat Cover in a small, family feel school commencing September!

On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are recruiting a dedicated teacher with a strong knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum, to complete a maternity cover starting in September. The role will be on a full-time basis, paid to scale (MPS 1-6) and provides an exciting opportunity open to both ECT's and teachers further on in their career.

The successful teacher will be someone who:

• Creates engaging and purposeful lessons in line with National Curriculum Standards
• Uses adaptive teaching methods to both scaffold and stretch activities to allow all children to achieve their potential
• Is invested in creating respectful, trusting relationships with the pupils and creating strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Can use ICT effectively to bring learning to life and incorporate Chromebooks and Kahoot Quizzes into lessons.
• Is open minded, keen to learn, share ideas and support best practice
• Immerses themselves in all aspects of school life
• Adhere to all school policies and procedures
