About the Opportunity - Year 5 Teacher

This exciting opportunity is perfect for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher ready to inspire and lead a dynamic class of KS2 pupils. As a Year 5 Teacher, you'll be taking on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and working closely with another Year 5 Teacher to share best practices and resources.

The school has a strong, collaborative teaching team, and offers a creative and inclusive curriculum that makes learning both fun and meaningful.

Key Responsibilities for the Year 5 Teacher:

• Delivering well-structured and inspiring lessons as a committed Year 5 Teacher
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Fostering a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity and confidence
• Working with the parallel Year 5 Teacher to plan and co-deliver engaging cross-curricular content
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

The successful Year 5 Teacher will also support school-wide initiatives and contribute to a vibrant and nurturing school culture.

The Ideal Year 5 Teacher Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally as a Year 5 Teacher
• A solid grasp of the National Curriculum and age-related expectations
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• A proactive, reflective approach to professional development
• A positive attitude and passion for teaching and learning
