Aspire People are working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Great Barr, Sandwell, who are seeking a full-time Year 5 teacher to join their team from 28th April 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher who is ready to take on full class responsibilities. The class has a few lively characters, but overall, behaviour is good and well-supported by the school's positive behaviour management strategies.

The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
* Be confident with full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, assessment and parent communication
* Have a strong classroom presence and a nurturing, resilient attitude
* Be committed to helping every child reach their full potential

The successful candidate must register with Aspire People before starting the role. Registration includes:
* Completing an application form
* Providing ID and references
* Attending an interview with our Black Country Primary Consultant - this can be done either in person in Sutton Coldfield or via video call if travel is difficult.
* Completing a DBS check OR have a DBS certificate on the update service already
