Hays Education are currently recruiting for a Year 5-6 Teacher at local Primary Schools within the BS27-BS48 area, starting from September. This role is a part-time position and is on a fixed term basis. You will be working 3 days a week covering a mixed Year 5-6 class up until the Christmas holidays, with the possibility to extend. You can pair these 3 days with 2 days of supply, another long-term role, or if 3 days suits your schedule, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!
Your new role
You'll be working with a dynamic and engaging group of upper Key Stage 2 students, planning and delivering lessons across core subjects including literacy, numeracy, science, and topic work. The role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable experience, as well as for experienced teachers seeking a fresh challenge in a supportive environment.
What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE or equivalent)
• Recent teaching experience within the last 5 years
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum, particularly KS2
