Year 5/6 Teacher Required in Rochdale for September 2025

Job description:

• Daily Rate: £162.31 - £207.38
• Location: Rochdale, OL12
• Job Type: Temporary

Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Year 5/6 Teacher for a temporary position for September 2025 to cover a maternity leave and is expected to last the duration of the maternity leave.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for KS2 students.
• Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching at the primary level.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
