Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover (Minimum 1 Year)
Salary: £180 - 230 per day

An ambitious and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is looking for a committed and confident Year 6 Teacher to cover a maternity leave beginning ASAP. This Year 6 Teacher role will run for at least one full academic year, with the potential for further opportunities beyond the cover period.

• Lead a well-behaved and high-achieving Year 6 class with excellent attitudes to learning

• Join a highly supportive SLT and experienced Upper KS2 team

• SATs support and structured planning in place to reduce workload

• Fantastic CPD access and coaching for ongoing professional development

• Located between Balham and Streatham, offering easy transport links and a vibrant local community

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum

• Prepare students for end-of-year assessments and SATs with confidence

• Track and assess progress to inform planning and interventions

• Establish positive behaviour management strategies and classroom culture

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

• Hold QTS and have UK primary teaching experience (preferably in Year 6 or Upper KS2)

• Have a sound knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation

• Be adaptable, proactive, and committed to ensuring every child succeeds

• Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills

• Be ready to make an immediate positive impact in a well-run, welcoming school
