Job Title: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Barnet, London
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London) – Dependent on experience

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the final year of primary school We are seeking a passionate Year 6 Teacher to join our welcoming and high-achieving Junior school in Barnet.

The Role:

You will lead a dynamic Year 6 class, preparing pupils for their SATs and the transition to secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team that values creativity, resilience, and reflective practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively

  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports high expectations

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

  • Contribute to whole school development and extra-curricular activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 6)

  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional growth
